Yachtmaster™ Offshore Preparation and Examination

all of the exam prerequisites as defined by the RYA.

Yachtmaster™ Prep
​Lady Catherine will be entered into the St Helier Yacht Club 2018 Offshore series of races.  Customers will be invited to sign up to join all of these races.
The package includes:

• Sea survival training
• First Aid
• VHF / SRC
• St Helier Yacht Club Annual Dinner

6 places available on this package, only available as a complete package.  Aimed at those who already have experience and are considering taking the Yachtmaster™ Offshore exam.  All sailing done with a Yachtmaster Instructor aboard.
The SHYC annual dinner and prize giving is held in November.  It’s a black tie event.
There are likely to be 7 races in the offshore series:

• Race 1 – 14th April 2018 - PAL & AC Mauger Race to NW Minquiers and back
  • 1 days racing
  • 30nm – 5hrs
  • Lunch included
• Race 2 – 19th May 2018 - BNP Paribas race to Guernsey
  • 1 day racing
  • 1 day sailing back to Jersey
  • Lunch aboard both days is included.
  • Breakfast on Sunday morning included
  • Evening meal not included as there is a prize giving and then customers can eat out in town.
  • Sharing cabins and sleeping aboard yacht.
  • Mooring fees included
  • 52nm – 2 days
• Race 3 – 15th June 2018 - Night race to St Malo
  • 1 day (night) racing
  • 1 day cruising / training on the Saturday
  • On-board snacks for the night race
  • Breakfast Saturday morning included

  • Evening meal a part of the reception but customers to purchase own meal out.
  • Sharing cabins and sleeping aboard yacht.

  • Up to 4 days continuous sailing Saturday to Tuesday sailing
  • Party tickets and reception on Wednesday

  • Breakfast Sun, Mon, Tues included

• Race 6 – 26th August (Start at Roscoff???)

• The route back from Concarneau to Jersey will probably stop at these ports
