What makes Go-Sail.je Family and Friends Membership Fantastic:
We can tailor a Go-Sail.je Family and Friends membership plan to suit your personal requirements, below are our three most popular plans. Your points can be used exclusively for bareboat charters on our yachts or you could choose to charter our catamaran with a skipper, join a race in our racing program or nip over to France for lunch on one of our powerboats. The selection of boat and day or activity define the number of points required. For bareboat charter, weekends require more points that weekdays.

Your monthly subscription fee covers all aspects of boat ownership including Jersey mooring fees, maintenance, cleaning and insurance. If damage occurs whilst you have a boat on charter you will be required to pay the excess on the insurance policy for any damage, repair or replacement. The membership subscription rate will remain fixed for the 12 months of your membership contract.
There is a one off joining fee of £1,000 which applies to all new members and anyone re-joining after a break. The joining fee covers the cost of the familiarisation sessions on all of the boats, competency assessments and administrative costs.
Competency is assessed on each boat before it can be taken out on bareboat charter. This is an annual activity. The format is similar to the International Certificate of Competence assessment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What qualifications are required?
Bareboat charters require members to have a minimum of the RYA Day Skipper Tidal practical certificate for our sailing yachts and RYA Powerboat Level 2 for our powerboats. However we recognise that these certificates aren't the only evidence of ability, therefore if you have a sufficient level of knowledge, experience and competency please contact us to discuss your membership options.
