Go-Sail.je Single Day RIB Charter is ideal if you enjoy the freedom of skippering your own RIB with your family and friends. There is no monthly commitment, you pay to rent the boat and for any fuel and mooring charges during the day. What qualifications are required?
A minimum of RYA Powerboat Level 2 and 3 years experience on similar boats. You will also need to complete the Go-Sail.je assessment and handover.
Is there an age restriction?
You need to be at least 25 years old to bareboat charter our RIB.
The Cruising ground
Our boats can be used in Channel Island waters and along the north French coast from Roscoff to Le Harve and must not be navigated further than 20nm from a safe haven.
How do I become familiar with the boat?
We have a video that you must watch before taking out the RIB and there is a 1hr assessment/handover on the boat before you can take it out.
what insurance is provided?
The boat is insured for you to use, but you may want to take out your own skippers liability insurance. There is no insurance for towing inflatables. There is an excess of £2,500 payable for any damage.
Do I need to provide anything else to make a booking?
Yes. We need a copy of your driving license or passport, so that we know who you are. We need a copy of a recent utility bill, again so that we know who you are. We also need a summary of your boating experience and an outline of your passage plan for the day.
How far in advance can i book?
You can book up to 30 days in advance of your planned trip and up to 1hr before.

Cancellation by a Member of a Single Day Bareboat Charter Booking:
The Member may cancel a bareboat charter booking up to 48 hours prior to commencement. A full refund will be given less a £50 administration charge. Cancellation by Go-Sail.je of a Single Day Bareboat Charter Booking:
Go-Sail.je will not cancel a booking except for unforeseen circumstances beyond its control or if the weather conditions are outside of the operating limits of the vessel as defined in the Boat Specific Conditions. Go-Sail.je reserves the right to substitute another vessel of similar type for the advertised one at its discretion or cancel, for any reason including weather conditions and maintenance of the vessel. In the event of cancellation, the member may be given the choice of an alternate vessel where possible. If the member does not wish to choose an alternative vessel, then a full refund will be given.
