Darren Stower Instructor Skipper Darren grew up in Australia and has been sailing since the age of 10. He was inspired to start sailing by Australia winning the America`s Cup in 1983. He has sailed Hobie catamarans for many years and was selected to represent his country in the late 90's and early 2000's. After working on board the cruise liner the QE2, he found his way to Jersey in 2003 where he continued sailing Hobies and bought a small cruising yacht. Darren has continued to be involved in racing and cruising and was a flag officer and in turn Commodore of RCIYC Jersey from 2009-15. Stepping back from these duties has allowed more time to sail and achieve Yachtmaster Offshore allowing for him to share his passion for the marine environment whilst sailing in Jersey waters and further afield with Go-Sail customers. Darren has plans to sail across the Atlantic and gain his Yachtmaster Ocean qualification. |

The Story so FarNigel has been sailing since he was a teenager and has enjoyed competitive sailing success aboard his ILC30 racing yacht, ‘Toybox’. Suzanne also is a keen sailor and after meeting through sailing in 2009, and then subsequently marrying, they bought a Catamaran Farways on their honeymoon in 2012. Nigel then took the brave step of leaving his job and setting up Coxshall Marine and Jersey Yachting, taking out guests on charter throughout the summer and conducting marine electrical jobs and marine survey throughout the year. They have continued to develop Go-Sail by updating the boats and providing more training opportunities. They are passionate about what they do and this is what drives the business, a love of the sea and the beautiful island of Jersey makes it seem as if they have the best job in the World!
