Private and Own Boat Tuition

Go-Sail.je offers private tuition for both sail and power.  Whether it be one-to-one or yourself and a group of friends or family we can accommodate your needs.  Your tuition can either be a specific RYA course or tailored to meet your individual requirements.  Private tuition can range from a half day refresher to a full course.  We can provide tuition aboard any one of our yachts, catamaran, RIBs or motorboat.

Our Go-Sail.je instructors can provide training aboard a Go-Sail.je vessel or aboard your own vessel.  If tuition is carried out aboard your own vessel there is some basic equipment that will be needed aboard.

Equipment Check List

• Anchor
• Bilge Pump (Manual and Electric)
• RADAR reflector
• Flares (suitable for the waters the tuition will be delivered in)
• Fire extinguishers and fire blanket
• Lifejackets for everyone aboard
• Liferaft (dependent upon the waters to be sailed in)
• Life buoys 
• Dan buoy

• Man Overboard Recovery Equipment

• VHF Radio
• Navigation equipment (Charts, Alamanc, Plotter, Dividers, GPS, Handheld Compass)
• First Aid Kit
• Mooring warps and fenders
• Spare fuel, oil and antifreeze
• Tool kit
• Speed and depth log
• Engine spares (fuel and oil filters, fan belt, impeller)
