Your monthly subscription fee covers all aspects of boat ownership including Jersey mooring fees, maintenance, cleaning and insurance. If damage occurs whilst you have a boat on charter you will be required to pay the excess on the insurance policy for any damage, repair or replacement. The membership subscription rate will remain fixed for the 6 months of your membership contract.
There is a one off joining fee of £1,500 which applies to all new members. The joining fee covers the cost of the familiarisation sessions on all of the boats, competency assessments and administrative costs.
Competency is assessed on each boat before it can be taken out on bareboat charter. This is an annual activity. The format is similar to the International Certificate of Competence assessment.
