Go-Sail.je puts the wow into sailing with a Crew Membership; from novice to expert sailors.  Join other like-minded crew members on our brand new race prepared yacht, a Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600, Solis Ortus, as often as you like. Work together as a team, guided and instructed by one of our qualified and highly experienced race experts to compete against other yachts on races organised by the Channel Islands Yacht Clubs.

Membership Plans

We can tailor a Go-Sail.je Crew membership plan to suit your personal requirements, below are our three most popular plans.  Your points can be used to arrange a special celebration by chartering our catamaran, or one of our yachts with a skipper, you can take part in a race on our racing program, or join one of our RYA sailing or powerboat courses.  The selection of boat and day or activity define the number of points required.

Suggested Usage Plan
The points for a Go-Sail.je 150 membership could be used for 22 days split as:

•  5 coastal races (eg. round island race)
• 4 inshore beer races half day sailing races (Summer evenings)
• 2 Inshore Frostbite races (Winter race series)
• 1 x day of Jackson Bay races
• 2 full day inshore / coastal race i.e. Jersey Regatta
• 3 offshore weekend races to France
• Inter island race to Guernsey​

Monthly Fee
Your monthly subscription fee will remain fixed for the 12 months of your membership contract.  The fee provides you with a set amount of points to spend on Go-Sail.je services.

Joining Fee
There is a one off joining fee of £100 which applies to all new members and anyone re-joining after a break.  The joining fee covers the cost of the full safety induction and briefing on each boat and administration costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any qualifications to become a member?

No, Go-Sail.je Crew Membership is available to all, from complete novice to experienced sailors.

How many crew will be aboard the racing yacht?

We can take up to 8 Go-Sail.je Crew members aboard Solis Ortus plus a skipper and an experienced member of staff.

When can i use my points?

You can use your points throughout the year, there is no restriction on when they can be used.  For clarity, points cannot be carried over from a previous contract.

Can i bring a friend with me on a race or charter?

Yes, your points can be used to bring a friend / family member on charters.  If your friend / family member subsequently signs up to a membership you will both receive bonus points. 

Can i purchase additional points during my 12 month contract?

Yes, if you require more points during your 12 month contract they can be purchased.  Please note, that additional point purchases cost more than pre-arranged points.  For clarity, points cannot be carried forward onto the next 12 month period.
