The weather is certainly improving :) Below are some dates when the tides work for a trip to the suggested destinations below.
Keep a look out for our online passage planning sessions!
It might be snowing in parts of Jersey today and it's definitely cold! I did see a few flakes whilst dropping my girls off at school and the car thermometer only read 1°C. That being said, it might be warmer in a couple of weeks and if you're looking for a local boating adventure below are some dates for later this month when the tides work for the suggested trips below. For more details on suggested departure and return times please do drop us an email or call.
Whilst it may be cold and generally wet and often windy in January over here in Jersey, we often get the occasional day with glorious sunshine and calm seas. With the right clothing sailing on these occasional days can be amazing. The current Covid-19 restrictions do make it challenging to run skippered charters but, if you have a Go-Sail.je membership you are still able to use our boats. We have looked at the tide times for January 2021 and if the weather is ok the dates below would work for the suggested trips. The trips below are based upon a sailing boat, whether it be a Go-Sail yacht or your own. Shortly I plan to post dates for similar trips that work best for powerboats. You will need to prepare your passage plan before setting out and we are more than happy to advise if you would like.
