Racing Programme

Exhilarating sailing......

While cruising in a sailing yacht or motorboat can be a very pleasant way to spend one's time, every now and again it is fun to blow out the cobwebs and put your foot down! So, at Go-sail.je we have introduced our Racinng Programme.

Making use of our Dufour 34 Performance, "Venustus", we are competing in some of the many sailing races organised by the Jersey yacht clubs. With a maximum crew of 6 adults, all on board get the opportuinity to experience the exhilartion of pushing the boat to it's limits as we compete with the other yachts. We trim sails, fly spinnakers and generally go for it! So if you fancy a bit of adrenalin sailing and are reasonably fit, why not contact us?

Participation as part of the crew is open to all, be they novices or yachtmasters; and you do not have to be a member. While particpation is free to members, non-members can also enjoy a great time for a relatively small charge. Of course the boat is fully insured and equipped with all the required safety equipment, lifejackets, etc. however you are expected to provide your own wet weather clothing, hats, gloves, etc.

Go-sail.je Racing Fees are on a per person basis. £50 for a half day race, £100 for a full day race, £200 for a 2 day voyage.
